2009 was a bad year for me. Finding out the bf I'm with was actually someone else's fiancee.
2019 is different. I'm with a man who respects me and put me first. A man who cares and notices when things aren't right. A man who goes out of his way to make me happy. Most of all, a man who's glad I'm his.
And also, in 2019 I finally learn to live without people's validation. Making my own rules and answering only to myself. Being who I am without reservations. Got rid of things and people who weigh me down. I'm better. Happier (I try to be even though I might have down times once or twice or many times). Here's to me. A girl who's no longer emo, without permed hair.
